In Loving Memory

"Pray for me … that God may give me wisdom and strength to carry out the solemn promises I shall be making, and that I may faithfully serve Him and you, all the days of my life.” (H.R.H. - 1952)

Queen Elizabeth's words during her first Christmas broadcast in 1952. A prayer answered. A service completed. Promises kept.

I am convinced, by her own confession and witness, that God saved the Queen. With Paul the apostle she could say...

“...the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4: 6-8.

"Throughout my life, the message and teachings of Christ have been my guide and in them I find hope” (H.M. - 2020)

Our beloved Queen Elizabeth was very much admired in all kinds of ways.
She was steadfast and faithful to her Lord and to her country, and territories for a lifetime.
How good to know that she is now "with Christ, which is far better."
Philippians 1: 23
